Collection: Swift Leather Watch Straps

Swift calfskin — a smooth, Hermès-grade leather with rich color and supple drape, hand-cut to your watch's lug width and your wrist's length. Made to order in 3-5 days, shipped from our workshop. Trusted by 1,900+ watch enthusiasts (4.7-star average across 1,970 reviews).

Swift is a smooth-finished calfskin that takes color brilliantly — slightly softer than Epsom, with a subtle natural grain visible in the right light. It's the leather Hermès uses for many of their bags and watch straps, prized for the depth and saturation it gives bright colors like reds, oranges, and blues. We cut Swift straps in any lug width from 8mm through 30mm, in lengths from short (5.0" wrist) through extra-long (12" wrist). It pairs especially well with modern dress watches and minimalist designs: Rolex Datejust, Cartier Tank, Nomos Tangente, Apple Watch, Grand Seiko dress models.

Use our Bespoke Fit Calculator to convert your wrist size and lug-to-lug width into the exact strap length we'll cut for you.

Not sure of your watch's lug width? Our Lug Width Finder takes brand and model and returns the right measurement, then sends you to a strap pre-set to that size.

Frequently asked questions

What is Swift leather?

Swift is a smooth-finished calfskin developed for Hermès. It has a subtle natural grain (visible up close) and a soft hand. Swift takes dye exceptionally well, which is why it's the leather behind some of the brightest, most saturated colors in fine leather goods.

How does Swift compare to Epsom?

Swift is smoother and softer; Epsom has a fine embossed grain that's more scratch-resistant. Swift takes brighter, deeper colors; Epsom holds shape and structure better. Pick Swift for a softer feel and richer color, Epsom for everyday durability.

Why is Swift good for bright colors?

The smooth finish and the way calfskin absorbs dye work together — Swift can hold color saturation in oranges, reds, blues, and pinks that grain leathers can't match. The same dye on Epsom or Dollaro reads softer because the embossed grain breaks up the surface.

How do I care for a Swift leather strap?

Wipe with a dry or barely-damp soft cloth after wear. Avoid prolonged water exposure and harsh cleaners. Swift is more prone to scratching than embossed-grain leathers (the smooth finish shows marks more readily) — for a more durable smooth-leather option, ask about Box Calf alternatives.

What lug widths and strap lengths are available?

Any lug width from 8mm to 30mm in 1mm increments, and lengths from short (5.0" wrist) through extra-long (12" wrist). Use the Lug Width Finder if you don't know your watch's lug width, and the Bespoke Fit Calculator to dial in length.
