Tissot PRX Carbon Leather Strap: Black Sharkskin
Share
The Tissot PRX has an integrated case with no conventional lugs, and the PRX Carbon adds a second complication: it is a 40.5mm watch, and the owner of this one pointed out that Tissot's own site says the standard 40mm strap does not fit it. A Tissot PRX Carbon leather strap has to be cut for that case deliberately. This order, from Wisconsin, did exactly that in black sharkskin.

| Spring bars | Quick-release at the watch side, standard bar at the buckle — as requested in the order notes |
Why these choices

The PRX is one of the integrated-case designs a standard band simply cannot thread onto, which is why we keep a dedicated PRX pattern rather than adapting a generic strap. The order sheet is what makes this one interesting: the owner named the exact reference, flagged Tissot's guidance that the 40.5mm Carbon does not take the standard 40mm strap, and let us cut to the order rather than assume the two sizes are interchangeable. That is the correct instinct with integrated cases — the case, not the buckle, decides the fit.
Sharkskin is the right material for a carbon sports watch. It is the toughest of the exotics we stock, with a dense, tooth-textured grain that reads technical rather than dressy. Flat padding and a tapered tip keep the profile thin, and matching side stitching keeps the strap monochrome so the case stays the focus.
One more detail from the notes: quick-release spring bars at the watch side, a standard bar at the buckle. Quick-release at the case makes future swaps tool-free; the buckle end rarely needs to come apart, so a standard bar holds it.

Questions PRX Carbon owners ask
Will a leather strap fit the Tissot PRX Carbon 40.5mm?
Not off the shelf — the integrated case has no standard lugs, and this order's owner noted Tissot's own advice that the regular 40mm PRX strap does not fit the Carbon. A made-to-order strap cut on a PRX-specific pattern is the workable route, which is what this build is.
How long does a Tissot PRX Carbon leather strap take to arrive?
Each strap is made to order and built in 3–5 days; allow 2–3 weeks to delivery in total.
