Green Lizard Strap for the Kurono Tokyo Chrono 3
The Kurono Tokyo Chronograph 3 Hisui was a limited run, and a watch that exists in small numbers never generates much of a strap aftermarket. Its jade-green dial also narrows the field further: most green straps are either too dark to register or too bright to sit next to a dial that subtle. This order, from an owner in South Australia, went with green lizard at 75/125mm.

Why these choices
Lizard is the dressiest of the exotics. Its scales are small and tightly packed, which means the pattern stays in proportion on a smaller watch instead of swallowing it — the same crocodile tiles that look right on a 44mm case can look coarse on a 38mm one. The Chronograph 3 is a 38mm watch with a busy, finely worked dial, and lizard is one of the few exotic hides that adds texture without shouting over it.
Colour was the harder decision. A dial described as jade is not a flat green, so matching it exactly is the wrong goal; the strap only has to live in the same family. Green lizard works because the scales themselves catch light at different angles, so the strap shifts between shades rather than sitting as one solid block of colour next to a dial that is doing the same thing.
The rest of the build is deliberately plain. An 18mm classic stainless buckle keeps the metal neutral against a steel case, and quick-release spring bars mean the strap comes off without a tool — worth having on a watch that gets rotated rather than worn daily. At 75/125mm this is a standard mid-wrist cut, not a custom length.

Is a green lizard strap for a Kurono Tokyo Chrono 3 too formal for daily wear?
Lizard is the dressiest exotic, but on a chronograph it lands somewhere between a dress strap and an everyday one. The fine scale pattern is far less assertive than crocodile, so it does not force the watch into black-tie territory.
What if my Kurono takes a different lug width?
Straps are cut to the width you specify — the configurator covers 8mm to 30mm — so a different Kurono reference is no obstacle. Measure between the lugs rather than going by the buckle width, since the two are not the same number.
