Curved-End Strap for Ming 37.06 Lightning: Barenia + Epsom
The Ming 37.06 Lightning is a recent release, and a strap built specifically for it does not exist off the shelf. This order, from a customer in Nebraska, asked for two curved-end straps for it: one in Barenia and one in orange Epsom, both short at 65/105mm with a 20mm buckle. The curved end is the point of the build: it is how we fit a watch whose lugs curve, so the strap follows the case line instead of stopping short of it under a straight edge.

Why these choices
Curved end, not integrated. A curved-end strap is for watches with curved lugs. The end of the strap is cut on an arc so it sits flush against the case instead of leaving a gap under a straight edge. That is different from an integrated strap, which is shaped to one specific case design. We ship curved spring bars in the chosen size, but we recommend fitting the watch's original spring bars where possible. This customer chose quick-release bars, which makes swapping between the two straps a tool-free job.
Two leathers, two moods. Barenia is a hot-stuffed leather with equestrian origins and is traditionally water-resistant, which makes it the everyday strap of the pair. Epsom is a stamped-grain calfskin, the same type used in Hermès bags. It is light and scratch-resistant, and in orange it turns the second strap into the weekend option. Having both cut to the same pattern means the fit stays identical whichever one is on the watch.
Short on purpose. At 65/105mm, both straps are well under our common 75/115mm length. That suits a smaller wrist and keeps the tail from running past the keeper. Ordering by the length of each half, rather than S/M/L, is how you get there. If you are unsure of your numbers, measure the strap you wear now from the spring bar to the buckle and from the spring bar to the tip, leather only, and send us those two figures with your wrist size. We would rather check a length before cutting than after.
