Corner-Notched Strap for a Girard-Perregaux Laureato
An integrated-bracelet case does not give a strap a flat opening to sit in. The bracelet was designed as part of the case, so when it comes off there is a shaped gap left behind, and a straight-cut strap end will not fill it. The 19 mm is the buckle end of the strap. It is not the lug width, and the order did not give one, so there is no lug figure published here.
Why these choices
Corner-notched is the Cartier Santos pattern, and it is the right one for a case where the bracelet met the case at the outer edges. Center-notched, where the step is cut into the middle instead, suits a different set of cases entirely. Picking the wrong one is the most common way a notched order goes wrong, so we work from the case measurements rather than from the brand.
Leaving a dimension blank is not a problem. Two solid numbers and an honest gap beat three confident numbers where one is wrong, because we can work the third from the first two and the case.
