Measure each dimension on your watch as shown in the diagram above. All values in millimeters. Half-millimeters are fine (e.g. 22.5).

Three tabs. If the end of your strap has only two, you want Style B instead.
- A — the full width of the strap end. (e.g. 22mm)
- B — the width of one notch. Both notches are the same, so measure one. (e.g. 4mm)
- C — the centre tab: the leather left standing between the two notches. (e.g. 8mm)
- D — how deep the notches cut. (e.g. 4mm)
These fields are millimetres. If you measured in inches, convert first — 1 inch = 25.4mm.
In Notes, tell us: your watch brand, model and reference; the buckle-end width; tapered or straight; and whether you're reusing your own buckle.
For cases with more than one contact point
Some watches don't meet the strap along a single clean edge. The case drops two separate blocks into the strap end, so the strap needs two notches — and the leather between them has to be exactly the right width or it sits crooked under the case.
We cut the strap to the full width of your case and notch it to your numbers. It fills the case opening the way the original did, because it's cut to your watch rather than to a standard size.

Which watches take a Style A strap?
The watches our Style A customers actually own — from our own order history:
- Audemars Piguet — the Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore, by a wide margin. "Cut and sewn with the same precision and quality as the Audemars Piguet original strap."
- Integrated sports cases — Porsche Design Flat Six, Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Gran Sport, Sector.
- Discontinued OEM straps — Tissot Two Timer, Longines PrimaLuna, and a long tail of vintage cases whose original strap is no longer made.
Widths vary by reference, so measure your own watch rather than trusting a model name.
Not the right shape?
- Multi-notched, style B — two tabs, set in from the corners.
- Corner-notched — one tongue in the middle.
- Centre-notched — one notch out of the middle.
- Curved-end — cut on an arc, not notched.
- Open-ended — for fixed bars instead of spring bars.
