Extra-Long Apple Watch Strap in Tan Epsom Leather

Apple sells its leather bands in two sizes, and neither of them is long. Past a certain wrist the last hole runs out and the tail stops reaching the keeper. This order from Idaho was cut 125/185mm — 310mm of strap before the buckle, roughly double a stock band. It is the longest configuration we build, and it exists because an extra-long Apple Watch strap is one of the few things you cannot buy off a shelf at any price.

Why these choices

Epsom is the right leather for this length. It is a stamped-grain calfskin — the same leather Hermès uses on structured bags — and it is light and scratch-resistant, which matters more the longer a strap gets. A soft, floppy hide at 310mm sags and creases at the keepers. Epsom holds its shape, so the long tail stays flat against the wrist instead of curling away from it.

Tan was chosen over black for a practical reason as much as an aesthetic one: on a strap this long there is a lot of visible leather, and a mid-tone hides the wear pattern that builds where the tail passes through the keeper. The lug adapters were specified in black so the hardware disappears into the case rather than drawing a bright line across the join. There is no padding on this build; at 125/185mm, added bulk is the enemy of a strap sitting flat.

How long can an extra-long Apple Watch strap be made?
This one was cut 125/185mm. VGreen builds extra-long for wrists from 8.5 in to 12 in (216mm to 305mm). Give us the wrist measurement and which side you want the extra length on, and the two numbers get set from there rather than picked off a size chart.

Will it fit my case size?
The strap attaches through lug adapters, specified in black or silver, so the same strap works across the case sizes that share an adapter. Tell us your case size at checkout and the correct adapter is fitted.
