Crocodile Watch Strap for Tissot Le Locle 29mm in Dark Blue
The Tissot Le Locle 29 mm is a small dress watch with 14 mm lugs, and the standard band on this one was too short for its owner's 7.5 in (190 mm) wrist. To fix that, we built a dark blue crocodile strap at 210 mm overall that tapers from 14 mm at the lugs to 12 mm at the buckle.

Why these choices
The problem here was length, not looks. The note on the order said it plainly: the goal was "to replace shorter standard band with this longer (210mm) one in dark blue crocodile." Off-the-shelf straps in 14 mm are often made for smaller wrists, because small watches are assumed to go on small wrists. That is not always true. At 7.5 in (190 mm), this wrist needed more strap than a standard 14 mm band offers, so we went to 80/130 mm: 80 mm on the buckle side and 130 mm on the tail side. The extra length goes mostly into the tail, so there is enough strap to reach a comfortable middle hole with tail left over to sit in the keepers.
The taper from 14 mm to 12 mm keeps the proportions right on a 29 mm case. A strap that stays 14 mm all the way down looks heavy on a small dress watch, and the 12 mm end also matches the buckle the owner already had, so they could keep it. Quick-release spring bars mean the strap can be swapped without a tool.
Dark blue crocodile is a natural choice for a dress watch that is worn often. Crocodile and alligator are industry synonyms for the same hide family, and the leather softens with wear and develops a hand-rubbed patina. Dark blue reads close to black in low light but shows color in daylight, which keeps a small watch from looking plain.
