Sand White Crocodile Strap for a Louis Vuitton
Share
Integrated-case watches don't take an ordinary strap. The lugs are shaped into the case, so a band has to be notched — cut with a stepped tongue that seats into the opening instead of sitting between two lugs. This order, from a customer in Kentucky, needed exactly that for a Louis Vuitton: a corner-notched strap in sand white crocodile, cut to measured corners so it drops into the case cleanly.
Every figure below comes straight from the order — a made-to-measure cut, nothing off the shelf.
| Spec | Detail |
|---|---|
| Leather | Crocodile, Sand White |

| Corner A | 17.75 mm |

| Buckle end | 16.0 mm |
Why these choices

Corner-notched straps follow the Cartier Santos pattern — a three-measurement cut (we label them A, B, and C) that shapes each corner of the strap end to match the case opening. The customer supplied the corners: A at 17.75 mm across, B at 10.0 mm, and C at 3.5 mm for the step. We cut to those numbers exactly, because on an integrated case a millimeter off means the strap won't seat. Jeweler-measured corners are worth the trip if you are not certain. This one is built on our corner-notched strap.
Sand white crocodile is a bold call for a fashion-forward Louis Vuitton — a bright, pale hide where the crocodile tiles read clearly against the case. Crocodile and alligator come from the same hide family and are sold under both names; this leather will soften and take on a hand-rubbed sheen with wear. The strap narrows to a 16 mm buckle end, kept slim to suit the case.
Because the cut is made to the customer's measurements, this is a one-watch strap — it fits that case and that opening. That is the whole point of a notched build: not a strap that almost fits, but one that does.

“I was a bit apprehensive when I sent off my measurements, I kept thinking that I had got them totally wrong, but when the strap arrived and was fitted I was pleased to say it fitted perfectly!”

FAQ
How are corner-notched straps measured?
Three measurements: A (the width across the notch), B (its depth), and C (the step). We cut each corner to those numbers, and jeweler-measured corners give the cleanest fit.
Can you make a crocodile strap for a Louis Vuitton?
Yes. We cut a corner-notched crocodile strap for a Louis Vuitton to your measured corners so it seats into the integrated case.
