Measure each dimension on your watch as shown in the diagram above. All values in millimeters. Half-millimeters are fine (e.g. 22.5).

Leather

If your preferred leather or color isn't shown, mention it in the Notes below — extra charges may apply.

Two tabs, set in from the corners. If the corners of your strap end are still square, you want Style A instead.

  • X — the full width of the strap end, across the shoulders. (e.g. 24mm)
  • Y — the width of one tab. Both tabs are the same, so measure one. (e.g. 4mm)
  • Z — the gap between the two tabs. (e.g. 8mm)
  • D — how far the tabs stand out. (e.g. 4mm)

Y is the leather. Z is the gap. That's the one pair people reverse.

These fields are millimetres. If you measured in inches, convert first — 1 inch = 25.4mm.

In Notes, tell us: your watch brand, model and reference; the buckle-end width; tapered or straight; and whether you're reusing your own buckle.

For cases where the strap enters on two prongs

On these watches the strap doesn't meet the case along a flat edge, and it doesn't sit between two lugs. Two tabs of leather have to reach up into the case, clear of the strap's own corners, and land in slots only a few millimetres wide. Nothing off the shelf will do it — and once the original wears out, most owners are told the watch is unwearable.

We cut the strap to the full width of your case, then cut the corners and the centre away to leave two tabs at exactly the width, spacing and height your case needs.

Made to order in 3–5 days and typically delivered in 2–3 weeks, in any of our leathers.

Which watches take a Style B strap?

The watches our Style B customers actually own — from our own order history:

  • Concord Saratoga — by a wide margin the watch we make this strap for most often.
  • Vintage tank and rectangular cases — Orient Tank / Equalizer and similar mid-century designs with a two-prong strap entry.
  • Discontinued OEM straps — a long tail of boutique and vintage cases whose original strap is no longer made.

Widths and tab spacing vary by reference, so measure your own watch rather than trusting a model name.

Not the right shape?

Send us a photo before you order if you're not sure and we'll tell you which one you need.
