The 19mm and 21mm problem

Much of the Longines catalogue runs on 19mm and 21mm lugs — the odd sizes most strap makers don't stock. We cut every strap to your watch's exact lug width, anywhere from 8mm to 30mm, with no upcharge over standard sizes.

Fit options off-the-shelf straps can't give you:

  • HydroConquest and Legend Diver on larger wrists — sized with our extra-long straps, up to 125/185mm for wrists to 12".
  • Ladies Présence and La Grande Classique — short lengths from 55/100mm for wrists down to 5.0", in buckle widths from 8mm.
  • Reuse your Longines buckle — pick “use your own buckle,” send a photo, and we punch the strap to fit it.

Which leather suits your Longines

Dress (Master Collection, DolceVita, Présence, La Grande Classique) — shell cordovan, crocodile, lizard, Epsom or Minerva box, usually 18–21mm.

Sport and diver (HydroConquest, Legend Diver, Spirit, Conquest V.H.P.) — stingray, shark, ostrich leg or Badalassi wax, usually 21–22mm.

Heritage and vintage (Heritage, Avigation Big Eye, 1832, vintage Flagship/Conquest) — Buttero, Barenia, Babele or Maya, 19–20mm, cut thin where a vintage case needs the clearance.

A note on water: leather straps are made for everyday dry wear. If you swim or dive in your Longines, switch to rubber or fabric and keep the leather for dry land.

Longines strap FAQ

What lug width does the Longines Master Collection use? Most Master Collection watches take 20mm or 21mm depending on case size — 38.5mm and 40mm cases are usually 20–21mm; 42mm cases are 21mm.

What about the HydroConquest? Most HydroConquest divers are 21mm; some smaller cases are 19mm. Either is standard for us.

Can you make a strap for the DolceVita? Yes — the rectangular case is cut to the exact lug width (commonly 20mm, with 17mm and 21mm variants) with a slim taper that keeps the dress-watch profile.

Vintage Longines — Flagship, Conquest, Heritage? Yes. Vintage cases typically run 18–19mm and often want a thinner, flatter profile; tell us the reference or send a photo and we'll size it.
