Notched Strap for a Citizen Eco-Drive Titanium
Share
Some cases are designed around their factory band, and a flat strap either gaps at the corners or refuses to seat at all. This customer's Citizen — a sapphire titanium Eco-Drive that wears Citizen's 59-S04772 band — came to us for exactly that reason. The answer was a notched strap for a Citizen Eco-Drive Titanium: corner-notched black Epsom, cut to A26/B13/C9 mm.

Why these choices

A corner-notched strap cuts the shoulders back at each corner so a center tongue follows the case opening — the pattern integrated designs need, and the same geometry we cut for Cartier Santos-style cases. Here the numbers run wide and deep: a 26mm mouth at the case, with a 13mm notch on each shoulder. That 13mm depth is at the deep end of what crosses our bench, which is precisely why this build could not be approximated by trimming a standard strap.
The measurements come from the customer, and that is how the product works: A, B, and C are order fields, and we cut to what you send. We recommend having a jeweler take the numbers — a caliper reading against the case beats a ruler across a photo every time.
Black Epsom is a practical match for a titanium tool watch. It is a stamped-grain calfskin, light and scratch-resistant, so the strap keeps pace with a case that was chosen for shrugging off daily wear rather than for ceremony. ★★★★★
“This was a good way for me to start using my 30 year old watch, but the rubber band deteriorated years ago. The watch maker stopped making bands for it and finding your company that would make a custom band was great.”

Frequently asked questions
Can I get a notched strap for a Citizen Eco-Drive Titanium?
Yes. If your Citizen's case will not take a flat band — or its factory band, like the 59-S04772, is the only thing that fits — a corner- or center-notched strap cut to your measurements solves it. This build used A26/B13/C9 at 85/135mm.
How do I measure A, B, and C?
A is the full width of the opening at the case, B is how far each shoulder is cut back, and C is the width step. We recommend a jeweler take them with calipers; the order page shows a diagram for each letter.
Every strap is made to order — allow 2–3 weeks to delivery. Start from the corner-notched strap page, or see the full custom notched straps and custom leather watch straps collections.
