Why these choices
Shark is one of the toughest exotics we cut, and its grain reads differently from calf or crocodile — a dense, slightly tooth-textured surface that scatters light instead of polishing it. On a gold dress watch that matters. The Classic can look formal to the point of stiff; a matte, textured black strap pulls it back toward something you would wear on an ordinary day, without tipping it into sporty territory.
