Extra-Long Strap for Accutron Spaceview, Green Snake
The Accutron Spaceview is a watch people buy to wear, not to leave in a drawer, and that gets hard when the wrist is 9.5 inches (241mm). A standard strap tops out well short of that. This order from Massachusetts needed an extra-long strap for an Accutron Spaceview 100th Anniversary that would close comfortably at the middle holes, in a green snake skin that suits the open-dial design.

Why these choices
Length is the whole job here. Standard lengths are cut for an average wrist, and most makers stop at 8.5 inches. At 9.5 inches, a standard strap would leave the tongue barely reaching the buckle. We cut this one at 105mm on the buckle side and 160mm on the tail side, 265mm (10.4 in) end to end, so the strap wraps the wrist with room to adjust up or down a hole. Stretching both pieces, rather than only the tail, keeps the buckle sitting on the side of the wrist instead of creeping under it. That balance is what makes an extra-long watch strap feel like it was made for the wrist and not just made longer.
The leather is snake skin (karung), which has hexagonal scales and a supple hand. Suppleness matters more than usual on a long strap: there is more leather wrapping around a larger wrist, and a stiff hide would hold its own curve instead of following the arm. Green keeps the look close to the Spaceview's tech-forward character without competing with the exposed movement. The customer chose a classic tang buckle in rose gold at 18mm and regular spring bars, the tool-removal type. The buckle width is 18mm; we build to whatever lug width the watch takes, from 8 to 30mm, so the Spaceview not being listed in a configurator drop-down is not a barrier. Measure between the lugs, or look up the reference, and put it in the order.
