The Tudor Black Bay Bronze is a wide, thick watch, and the factory strap runs out of holes well before a large wrist does. This order from England solved it at the source: a 90/145 mm navy Epsom strap, cut long from the start rather than punched with a couple of extra holes and hoped for.

Why these choices
Most makers stop at 8.5 inches. That is the whole problem: a wrist an inch past that is not rare, but it falls off the end of the size chart, and the usual workaround is an extension piece that sits under the case and lifts the watch. Our extra-long straps are built for 8.5 to 12 inch wrists as a single piece, so the buckle lands where a buckle should land and the tail still tucks into the keepers.
The 90/145 mm split matters as much as the total. Length is short-side plus long-side, and putting the extra millimetres mostly on the long side keeps the buckle roughly centred on the underside of the wrist. Add both sides together and this strap runs 235 mm of leather — on a 20 mm buckle width, that is a lot of strap to keep flat, which is part of why the leather choice went where it did.
Epsom is a stamped-grain calfskin, the same leather used for Hermès bags. It is light and scratch-resistant, and the embossed grain holds its structure over a long span instead of going floppy the way a soft, thin calf would at this length. Navy under a bronze case is the quiet version of a warm-and-cool pairing: it lets the case patina do the talking while the gold buckle picks up the bronze tone.
