Extra-Long Notched Strap for the Movado Elliptica
The Movado Elliptica (this one ref. 84.N1.1890) hides its strap attachment inside the case, so an ordinary band physically cannot fit — and Movado no longer supplies replacements for many of these references. This order from Ohio stacked a second problem on top: the owner needed an extra-long cut. The answer was a notched strap for the Movado Elliptica in black Epsom, extended to 105/160mm.

Why these choices
A center-notched strap is cut with a raised tongue in the middle of the strap end — here 22mm wide, 15mm deep, with a 3mm step — so the leather reaches into the Elliptica's recessed attachment while the full strap body sits flush against the case. It is the same approach VGreen uses for integrated-bracelet designs and vintage dress watches that standard bands cannot fit, and the measurements are cut to the customer's own numbers, which is why we recommend having a jeweler confirm them.
The second half of the problem is length. Off-the-shelf straps, where they exist for this case at all, stop far short of what an 8.5 in (21.5cm) or larger wrist needs. At 105/160mm this cut adds roughly 30mm of usable reach over a standard strap — one of the longest builds to come off the bench this year.
Black Epsom is a practical match for the job: a stamped-grain calfskin, light on the wrist and scratch-resistant, so the fine-grained surface keeps its dress character on a watch that clearly gets worn.
