Curved-End Strap for Baume & Mercier Hampton
A Baume & Mercier Hampton has curved lugs. Why these choices
A curved-end strap is for watches with curved lugs, and it is not the same thing as an integrated strap. An integrated strap is shaped into one specific case design and fits nothing else. A curved end is cut on an arc to follow the curve of the lugs, so the leather closes the gap under the case while the strap itself stays an ordinary strap you can swap. A rectangular case with downturned lugs is exactly the shape that gains from it.
Black crocodile on a gold case is a conservative pairing, and the black stitching keeps it that way. Thread matched to the leather means the eye reads the scale pattern first and the seam second, which is the right order on a strap this visible. Crocodile softens with wear and takes a hand-rubbed patina, so it settles into the wrist over the first few weeks rather than staying board-stiff.
The buckle is a classic gold buckle at 16 mm (0.63 in). That figure is the strap's width at the buckle end, not the lug width — the strap tapers down to it. Spring bars were ordered as regular, meaning tool removal rather than quick-release. On curved-end orders we include curved spring bars in the size you choose, but we recommend using your watch's original bars: they were matched to the case, and they seat more reliably than any aftermarket bar.

No. The Hampton has run in several case sizes and lug widths across men's and ladies' references, so the strap is cut to the lug width you give us, not to the model name. Measure between the lugs, or have a jeweler measure for you, and order that number.
Can I keep my original spring bars?
Yes, and we recommend it. The curved bars included with the order are there in case yours are worn or missing.
