Corner-Notched Strap for a Mathey-Tissot Evasion
The Mathey-Tissot Evasion H152ABU is one of those cases where the strap has to disappear under the lugs rather than butt up against them. This order from Texas arrived with the measurements already taken: A 20 mm, B 12 mm, C 3.5 mm, cut into black crocodile at 75/115 mm.

Why these choices
A 12 mm notch depth is on the deep end of what we cut, and it tells you what the case is doing: the lugs overhang a long way back from the tip, so a strap that only lost a millimetre or two at the corners would still foul the case. Pair that with a shallow 3.5 mm shoulder cut and you get a strap that keeps almost its full 20 mm presence at the lug line while sliding a long way under the overhang.
This is the geometry that off-the-shelf straps cannot serve. The usual workaround — buying a narrower straight strap so it clears the case — leaves a visible gap on both sides and makes the watch look like it is wearing someone else’s band. Cutting to A/B/C keeps the width right and moves the compromise to a place nobody sees.
Black crocodile is a deliberate pick on a notched build rather than a default. The scale pattern runs along the strap body, and because corner-notching removes material at the outside edges rather than through the middle, the pattern stays uninterrupted where you actually look at it. Crocodile also softens with wear and takes a hand-rubbed patina, which suits a strap likely to stay on one watch for years.

How do I get the measurements for a corner-notched strap for a Mathey-Tissot Evasion?
