How To Choose An Extra Long Watch Band For Your Large Wrist?

So your wrist is bigger than others?!? You bought a XXL watch band on Amazon but it ended up being too tight! ( Even though it said XXL).

This is frustrating but not surprising, simply because people define sizes differently.

What do you do now? Go on Amazon again and look for XXXL straps (extra X this time)? I hope you find one, but it’s truly hit-and-miss doing it this way.

Instead, you’ll need to find out the strap length for your wrist. How to do that? Simply input your wrist size below:

Ok, so now you have an idea of the strap length you’ll need for your wrist.

The next thing you need to know is the lug width of your watch. Lug width is the internal distance between the two points where the strap fits in. Be careful to measure this correctly, otherwise the strap could end up not fitting in your watch.

Finally, if you want to use the strap with your own buckle, you would need to know the buckle width as well, so the strap fits not only your wrist and your watch, but also your existing buckle.

Having all above info, you can now buy a perfect strap for your wrist.

But wait! Stock ready straps are usually made for most common wrist sizes, so it might not be easy to find a strap with all the specs that you need.

In this case, you might want to consider a custom watch band, because:

- It is made for your wrist, so it is fit guarantee.

- You can use it with your OEM buckle

- Fully customizable. You can build the strap the way you want it to be.

- Superior quality. Custom straps are carefully detailed by hand, they last much longer than any mass produced strap.
